Angela hosts ESPN/Samsung Mobile’s Project Teamwork Series!

I was fortunate to be able to join ESPN and Samsung Mobile this summer on a ESPN Original Digital Series called Project Teamwork. The show has just started airing online and you can watch the first 2 Episodes now! I host The Hague, Netherlands, meeting up with one of the best Beach Volleyball teams in the world.

Halloween is a pretty good excuse 🙂 In lieu of all the sexy/slutty costumes, I always try to be silly and creative. I love bringing out the puffy paint and glue gun! Last year I was a Fantasy Football, and since the Monday Night Game happened to be ON Halloween, here’s a little look back at 2010….

Save the Reefs, Save the Oceans Gala 2011

On Friday, September 16, we will celebrate the important work of the Reef Check Foundation, on the sand, at the Jonathan Beach Club in Santa Monica. It will be an evening featuring never-before-seen footage from the world’s leading underwater filmmakers along with an opportunity to meet some of the thousands of volunteer divers who monitor these essential natural resources. The evening will also recognize the contributions of three “Heroes of the Reef” each having demonstrated an exemplary commitment to ocean conservation: Howard & Michele Hall and Wyland.

I had the good fortune of going on a Reef Check internship to Thailand to survey the coral reefs of the Andaman Sea a few years ago, so I was ecstatic when I was asked to speak about my experience as a Reef Check Eco-Diver a.k.a “citizen marine biologist” as part of this event. Of course I couldn’t dress in “normal” attire 🙂

I hadn’t been out in a while so it was nice to take a break from the grind of post production and check out this event. (and have an excuse to wear my fun boutique finds from Barcelona :P) It was definitely “First Class”. They projected the movie on the side of the Roosevelt hotel!
